I am looking for a good MBA program in the US with a specialization in human resource management. I would be interested in hearing thoughts about the following programs, which I have shortlisted:
Temple Fox - MBA with Human Resources concentration
Depaul - MBA with a concentration in Human Resources
Pace Lubin - MBA in Human Resources Management
Michigan State Broad - concentration in Human Resource Management
Since I am not from the USA, I do not know these university's reputations.

Michigan State is probably the best of these schools, at least according to the rankings. And then Temple... Followed by the others.
It's worth at least exploring whether you actually need to pursue a concentration in a discipline like human resource management. I don't think that this field, unlike something like finance, requires such highly specialized knowledge; a general MBA from a ranked school might be just as good, in terms of your career goals.

Thanks. I see your point about doing a general MBA, but I don't understand why, if a concentration in human resources wouldn't add more value, that these schools offer them at all. Certainly there is something worth it about the concentrations, if they offer them.

They do provide value - the Broad program is interesting for example because it covers topics in negotiations, organizational change, etc., in the context of human resource management.
Something like that is great for people who know they want to stay in HRM. Others may find it too limiting.

I definitely know I want to stay in human resources because it is my lifelong passion. Do you think that the Michigan State MBA is the best out of the ones that I am targeting?

In general yes, since it's the only MBA program in your list that's ranked in Businessweek and the Financial Times. Might be different if you were targeting specific industries, for example Fox might be arguably better if you're looking to get placed in human resources in the technology industry.

Ok, thanks. I don't really have an industry preference, but rather I would like to target specific employers, such as Amazon.
