A big hello to everyone!
I possess 3 years of experience in the Risk Consulting vertical of a Big4 Audit firm in India. I haven't written GMAT and neither left with time to write one for Sep'13 intake.
Hence, I had applied to the following institutes for MBA programme:
Strathclyde, Essex, Exeter, Henley Biz School, Birmingham, Newcastle.
I have heard positively from Henley, Birmingham & Strathclyde. My intent behind undertaking MBA is to experience Career progression to land into Management Consulting domain preferably in UK/Europe.
A few friends and relatives have also advised to apply for Nottingham, Leeds, Durham.
Request all to pls. guide..

Try this approach: http://www.find-mba.com/board/33571
Generally, you need to be as specific as possible about what sort of consulting you want to do. The strategy consulting firms focus on hiring from the top ten UK schools, which use the GMAT. You will be well advised to take the GMAT and apply in later this year for entry in 2014.
If you want to work in mainland Europe, work on your languages.

Thanks JK, I appreciate your advice.
However, due to some circumstances, I have to pursue MBA this year. Hence, given these available choices of institutes, mentioned in the question, which one would u suggest???
I would also like to get ur feedback specifically for Strathclyde Biz School. THANKS!!

Use the approach in the post I linked to. None of these schools is a credible path into strategy consulting, so think about what sort of consulting you want to do. Generally, get into the best programme you can.
