HI All,
Can you please suggest which Uni is better among Kingston and Northumbria. I am Planning for Jan 2010 intake so my options are limited when it comes to colleges.Kingston is AMBA accredited, but i got to know that even Northumbria is decent Uni. Which Uni among the two has better reputation among the employers.please suggest.
Thanks in Advance..

I happen to know that Aberdeen university also offer a course starting in January.
Among them 3 i believe Aberdeen is the most respected university overall then Northumbria and then Kingston however, in terms of MBA, Northumbria and Kingston might be on the same par if not slightly better. Aberdeen is pretty old and good at what they are good at classics or law but i am not certain about business management. The way the market their course and present their university does not seem very appealing. You may just ask yourself, if this business school does not do very good marketing for themselves, does not seems to know how to SELL then i am less certain about the practicality of their management education. Also a large part of MBA is able to sell yourself to employers, i am not sure if career services is any decent?
Both Northumbria/Kingston have offered MBA for a while and the course content is decent. Kingston is AMBA accreditted but Northumbria should earn EQUIS and AACSB pretty soon. The reason they havent able to secure AMBA is they tend to let ppl with a bit less than 3 years working experience in. Kington is located just outside London and Newcastle is big enough to spend a year in. And close enough to Scotland and London trips to Edinburgh/London is 2.5 -3 hours.
So bottom line. Aberdeen is slightly better overall than Northumbria which in turn is slightly better than Kingston. In terms of management education though, i think they are pretty similar. Northumbria recently built a massive building and invested a hefty sum in the business school so it certainly has some edges
Location? London better than Newcastle and in turns better than Abderdeen. But Newcastle is quite good and cheap

Hi
I've been offered a place at both universities too. And I am not sure where to go to.
Pami where did you finally go to? What was you're experience?
Cheers, Ellen
