Hello all..
I wanted to seek some advice form you guys ,,.. I am a senior I.T Architect working in banking industry for a long time (yup, still hanging on), getting paid very well and never ?had? any complaints! :- ) until lately. Now we all know what?s happening around the world, and what more is to come ? I have changed my mind to leave banking and get into energy sector, that is Oil & Gas? I have always been keen to move to the Middle East and hope it?ll help me find work rather swiftly! My main experience (over 9 years) has been in IT as an Architect/Enterprise Architect and I really still want to stick to the IT but change the industry.
Wondering what would you recommend me to do and what?s the best school to do it from?
Thanks in advance and best regards
- Syd

Hi Syd,
I'm not sure where you're based, or where you'd prefer to study, but straight away I can think of a couple of programmes/discussion on here that might be of interest.

Hmmm...I notice that Cass Business School runs an EMBA at its Dubai campus which has a special elective in energy (http://www.cass.city.ac.uk/mba/dubai/course/electives/energy/index.html)
Interestingly, the only admissions criteria are:
* either a good undergraduate degree or substantial and relevant work experience and/or professional qualifications as an alternative to a first degree.
* a minimum of three years' full-time relevant work experience after graduation.
* if English is not your first language, a well-balanced International English Language Testing Systems (IELTS) score of at least 6.5. This may be waived if you have recently worked or studied in an English-speaking environment for at least a year.
