Hi , I got the offer from Glasgow and Birmingham university . Applied for Henley . Result is yet to come. I have applied for Sep - 2013 but not able to decide which business school to go. If i see the ranking Glasgow has better ranking. I am 6 years experience IT engineer. I am more concerned about job opportunities after MBA.Birmingham is a big city so may be job opportunities are more as compare to Glasgow. Please suggest. I don't have GMAT score so can't target top ranking business schools.

Glasgow is not better than Birmingham for the MBA. What ranking are you using?

Henley's MBA has been relaunched and is too new to be in the rankings, but it's one of the top 30 business schools in Europe: http://rankings.ft.com/businessschoolrankings/european-business-school-rankings-2012 Glasgow has never been in the top 100 business schools ranking either.

Entry into Henley is hard without a GMAT. If they accept you, you must be very good. If you don't have a degrees in business, I'd recommend Henley.

where Glasgow has good ranking. I was not able to find Henley ranking may be this is because its MBA is relaunched. But then it will be difficult to decide among Henley or Birmingham.One constraint is fees , Henley - 25000 where as Birmingham is 19800. Please suggest .
How about Loughborough University ? Its really difficult to decide the university ,as every website has different ranking .

I don't know what your career goals are. If you don't want to work in the UK, change role/industry or leverage the alumni network then the benefit of a better schools is less. If you want one or more of those things then get into the best school you can.

The Guide rankings are for undergraduate programmes. Henley is slight *above* Glasgow on that ranking, but it's described as "University of Reading", and Birmingham has more or less the same score. These are all strong schools for undergraduate study. For "Graduate Prospects", however, that ranking puts Birmingham and Reading in the top six, ten places above Glasgow. The Guardian also ranks undergraduate courses.

However, neither Glasgow nor Loughborough have a strong record as an MBA provider. They all have the valuable AMBA accreditation, but not strong alumni network or relationships with the major MBA employers.

But might I add another suggestion? Take the GMAT. If you want to leverage your background and maintain a focus in information technology, a ranked school - especially a program like Imperial, which features some related electives - would be much better for you than the ones you're considering.

Is Henley is better than Cambridge, University of ? Judge Business School and Strathclyde, University of ? Business School ? In that case i will be really lucky if i get Henley.

That is a matter of opinion. The Economist ranking focusses on percentage growth in salary, which favours schools that recuit students with less experience and thus lower starting salaries which allow for a higher percentage growth. I can't think of anyone who would seriously argue that Henley is superior to Cambridge.
