Hi,
I'm wanting to understand whether European institutes (eg. ESSEC) consider the highest GMAT score, or average the scores taken by the applicant.
I have had a poor GMAT score last July 2011; Im considering a GMAT test again, coming January as I wish to apply for ESSEC's MBA in Luxury Brand Management in 2013; but I'm unsure of whether a better GMAT score would help, or make it worse by averaging the scores, and push me out of the applicants' list.
Duncan, please advice!

I'm not the only person here ;-)
They look at them all. They don't average them.

They usually tend to look at the highest score. However, if you have done it more than twice they might average the 2 highest. Business Schools are not that brutal and everyone might have a bad day.

Other than at Tuck, which schools have you heard of averaging the two highest scores?
