I have been thinking about MBA in Aviation management.Please advise me on this.Like career aspects,market and growth.I have degree and exp in IT.
I think RMIT and Griffth in australia provides this.

Hi Charmlu,
I don't know much about career prospects after such an MBA, but I know that Toulouse Business School offers an aerospace MBA which is accredited by the Association of MBAs. Toulouse is the main aerospace center in Europe, so I would guess it has good connections with employers.
Concordia University in Canada also offers an aviation MBA and the school is AACSB-accredited, and for North America in general you could check the Council on Aviation Accreditation web site,
http://www.caaaccreditation.org/intro.html
It seems they only accredit Bachelor degrees, but you could research the universities that have this type of accreditation and see if their MBA programs look good.
Finally, I also remember that someone else in this board (username: gainer.in) has been asking about those programs. Perhaps you could directly get in touch with him/her and see what he/she has found out.

I would recommend the MSc Air Transport Management at City University or Cranfield University, if you are experienced and want an "Exec" modular approach.

However, for mid-level managers or people who want to career switch into an aviation or aerospace role, the University of Tennessee at Knoxville's Aerospace and Defense MBA program is hard to beat.
