I am an American who wants to spend some time in Asia to do my MBA. I guess Hong Kong and Singapore are good options, but does anybody have any advice as to which business school? So far I have looked at Nanyang in Singapore and HKUST in Hong Kong. Anything else I should consider?
Thanks!

Do you have any goals or criteria? Both schools are equally in Asia, so they meet your criteria.

The field I current work in is import/exports, and I'd like to better understand the operating environment in which many of my clients work. Plus I'd like to build my network, and hopefully get some management experience in the form of an internship or project.
Do you think there's another school that would better fit my goals?

I think that depends on where your clients are and where you want to network. Read http://rankings.ft.com/businessschoolrankings/global-mba-ranking-2014 Most students in top Singaporean and HK MBAs are from outside those countries.

Thanks, that ranking is really useful.

Why not try the mainland? Although western students are in the minority in the MBA programs at Guanghua and CEIBS, the networking opportunities might be more what you are looking for.

That's a good idea. I hadn't considered those schools because the Hong Kong and Singapore schools seemed more accommodating for western students, but I was just looking at the recent CEIBS class profiles and it seems like it has a pretty balanced mix of students... Networking opportunities might be better there.
